Make Sure You Vote

Most people are not dumb, I have to believe that, but on average only 40% of eligible voters cast ballots in this country in non-presidential years. It goes up to 60% when the office of president is at stake, but that is less than turn outs in countries we vilify like Iran and Iraq. With the way the last few elections are going, it seems that more of the dumb people are voting, but then again, to not use your right to cast a ballot is probably the dumbest thing of all. Well, it is too late to register this year if you haven’t already, but make sure you do before the next election, and if you are registered, make sure you vote on Tuesday so I will be smiling as much as these boxers.
