Digital Camera/Timer Difficulties

It is always difficult taking pictures of yourself with a camera timer. At least I have trouble. 1 – you don’t know where the damn thing is aiming. 2 – you can’t tell if you are posing OK. 3 – once the picture is taken, you have to move the whole set up to view the thing. And 4 – at least with my digital camera, the view screen is almost impossible to see clearly in the bright sun.

Witness the series of pictures below. I didn’t know if I was capturing a good image or not (couldn’t see the screen – it was so sunny), so I kept taking them. I wanted just one picture of me sitting in my favorite Speedo, by a pool in Palm Springs, and no one was around to take it, so I had to use the timer. None of them are perfect, but I couldn’t decide which to show you, so here they all are. Hey, how about voting for your favorite in the comments and letting me know. Thanks.
