The Devil Wears Sauvage?

I haven’t seen “The Devil Wears Prada” but I read a very picky review of the film. The first flaw that they mentioned was that when Meryl Streep makes her first appearance as a high-powered fashion editor she is sporting a purse with a huge Chanel logo on it. The pointed out that a true fashion guru would never be so crass as to have a logo proclaiming the designer of an accessory. Does this suit, with the big Sauvage logo on my ass make me crass?
