AOL Screwed Up Good

I finally saw an ad on TV that a friend told me about. It is for AOL high-speed Internet service. A lot of people complain about AOL, about how that now that they are a huge corporation they don’t care about the little people and overcharge for underwhelming service. They are blind to the real world and don’t meet the desires of the regular man. Well this ad proves only half that last point. The ad features ordinary people able to compete with super fast athletes in various types of races – running, swimming (can you see where this is going?) Everyone knows that top of the line swimmers don’t wear Speedo style suits anymore, but there they are, a whole line of hunky men in Speedos, waiting to dive in the water. AOL is blind to the real world, but they sure pleased this ordinary man.

PS – No snide comments about how with this extreme Speedo fascination, I am far from ordinary. LOL
