More TV – Battle of the Network Stars

One cannot talk about Speedos on TV without mentioning the wonderful series! Remember, stars from the then 3 networks, would compete in sporting events for points for their respective teams. The two teams with the most points at the end would go all out in a tug-of-war for the win. The first event was swimming, and wooof, you would get to see hot TV actors wearing Speedos. Robert Conrad, Greg Evigan, John James, Marc Singer, Lee Majors, Andrew Stevens, Willy Aames, Adrian Zmed, Bruce Boxleitner, Robert, Urich, Gregory Harrison, Gil Gerard, John James, Scott Baio, Eric Estrada, and the list went on! (Search the Web and you can find pictures of these guys in their Speedos!)

Imagine if they had the show on today. Who would you like to see in it? Personally, I would like to see James Denton, the plumber from ‘Desperate Housewives.’ Woooooof! But alas, they would probably wear jammers, and they aren’t nearly as much fun.
