Regarding Post of 1/28/2006 – The Tank Top

That tank top is a Hanes 100% cotton white ribbed size small. I have a bunch of them and a lot of Jockey brand tank tops. I like the Hanes better, there are just subtle differences, but I think the Hanes looks best.

For the longest time, I never wore tank tops. I didn’t grow up wearing them and I really thought they were sexy. Kind of like my Speedo fetish, I was just embarrassed to wear something that I felt was so sexy. Along time ago my Ex gave me some training sessions at the gym with a professional trainer. My Ex told the trainer I was embarrassed to wear tank tops because I didn’t feel I had the body for them. The trainer then started nagging me to wear one! Finally I wore one to the gym, and looking in the mirror there, seeing myself in the tank top, it made me want to train harder so I could feel more comfortable. I was a powerful lesson. Even if you don’t feel like you look your best in something, wear it, and work to looking the way you want to.
