TV Speedo Non-Sighting

Kind of ironic – in the last post I mentioned a ‘Three’s Company’ episode where a man in a Speedo was not looked down on. That was show was made in the 70’s. Last night there was an episode of ‘Friends’ on where Monica and Chandler are ready to go on their honeymoon. Monica mentions in front of some of the gang that she packed all of Chandler’s things, except she couldn’t find his Speedo. He denied that he had one and was clearly embarrassed. What happened to this world between the 70’s and 90’s where a Speedo could go from acceptable to an embarrassment? Uhg, maybe time is moving backwards. Soon woman won’t be able to show their ankles in public again. Oh, wait, they can’t do that in the Middle East in some places. I wonder if the men can wear Speedos though?
